ONE WEEK FROM TODAY I’LL BE HEADING INTO THE CITY FOR MY “MARATHON WEEKEND”
Has it set in that I’m actually going to do a marathon? yes and I’m really getting nervous/excited!!! but it still doesn’t feel “real”.
Weird dreams? none, zip, zilch! well….at least none that I can remember!
Today’s workout: For the record, I did swim last night (35 laps in 44 min). Today was a 45 min rolling hill workout on the AMT (3.95 miles) followed by 5 min of walking on TM to cool down, some hip exercises and stretching. It will be my last “hard” workout until November 6th.
How’s the knee? Feels good! I get twinges of weirdness going on in there every now and again. Going to try for an easy 6 tomorrow so we’ll see how it holds up.
Random thought(s) of the day: It was 37 degrees when I went out to my car this morning — there was ice on the windshield 😦
I’m so happy it’s the weekend, I need some chill time before the craziness of next week begins.
I have a feeling I’m not going to get anything constructive done over the next week — what you do ya’ll think?
